Image quality
When it comes to painting a bespoke animal portrait, the clearer and higher quality the photo, the better the results.
If you have a lower quality photo of your pet that you would like to use, I will do my utmost to accurately interpret the detail and clear up the image. In this case, please send me multiple photos of your pet which can be used as reference for any lost detail.
A good quality image: Clear and natural lighting, at eye level, visible features e.g
The process

Final packaged painting
My paintings are made on heavy watercolour paper and mounted with a backing board ready to be framed.
To finish, your painting is coated in 2 layers of satin varnish and is carefully and securely packaged. A certificate of authenticity is included.
For bookings, I take first come first served. Turn around time will be estimated when discussing the commission - however, expect around 1-2 weeks from when I start your piece. If you have a deadline you need the piece by - for example for a birthday gift - I will try my best to prioritise your painting.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before I can add you to the calendar or start the piece. The remaining payment is required before delivery.
I will keep you updated on the whole process including photo updates by email (unless you prefer the surprise)! Feedback is encouraged in this period of time.
